Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Cable Installer to join our team. As a Cable Installer, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining various types of cables and wiring systems. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail.

Duties:

- Install, troubleshoot, and repair cable and wiring systems in residential and commercial settings

- Perform network installations, including Ethernet and fiber splicing

- Use hand tools and specialized equipment to complete installations

- Test and verify the functionality of installed cables and connections

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects

- Provide excellent customer service during installations and service calls

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Cable Installer or in a related field is preferred

- Knowledge of electrical systems and low voltage wiring is required

- Strong technical skills with the ability to use hand tools effectively

- Familiarity with telecommunications systems, including telephone and network installations

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

- Strong communication skills to interact with customers professionally

Note: This position requires physical stamina as it involves standing, bending, and lifting heavy equipment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $59,240.00 - $62,248.00 per year

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
